Mike Fults Memorial Beach Bash Tournament

To be held on 19 and 20 May 2012.

There is a $1 charge for parking - each day - at the Sports complex. The parking permit dispensers accept only $1 bills. The city of Huntington Beach makes a tidy sum off of parking tickets each year.

On line registration is now available.

Schedules

The game schedules will be availabe approximately 2 weeks prior to the tournament.

The referee schedules will be availabe approximately 1 week prior to the tournament.

Hotels

The DoubleTree hotel has a package offer for the Beach Bash tournament. See their flier for more information. To get to the tournament site from the DoubleTree:

1. Get on the 55 freeway going south - west.
2. Immediately get on the 405 freeway going to Los Angeles.

The Holiday Inn Express has a package offer for the Beach Bash tournament. See their flier for more information. To get to the tournament site from the Holiday Inn

1. Get on the 55 freeway going north - east
2. Get on the 73 freeway going north - west
3. Get on the 405 freeway going to Los Angeles

From both hotels

1. Drive toward Los Angeles passing Harbor, Euclid and Brookhurst.
2. At the Magnolia / Warner exit, exit number 15, get off the 405 onto Warner going west.
3. Drive west passing Magnolia, Newland, Beach, Gothard (Ocean View High School on the south - west corner).
4. At Goldenwest (Home Depot on the south - east corner) turn south.
5. Drive south past Slater, up a hill, past the Library entrance (don't park at the library)
6. The Huntington Beach Sports Complex is to the east.
7. Park and buy a parking permit, $1. Put the permit in your vehicle visible from the outside!
8. Driving time is approximately 30 minutes.

Region 5 holds the HI 5 Tournament usually the first weekend of the year.

Region 55 holds the Sun and Surf Tournament in June.

Region 56 holds the Turkey Shoot Tournament around Thanksgiving.

Region 177 holds the Beach Classic tournament in Feb.

Outside of Area K but within Section 11 are additional tournaments:

Region 120 (Costa Mesa) holds the McMillian tournament in Sept. and the Costa Mesa Classic at the end of the year.
